SOS Gaza Talks

Five discussions to explore the debate on Gaza in greater depth

Challenge

Two years of hell on earth

After two years of war and massive violence in Gaza, SOS Gaza wanted to keep fueling the public debate with depth, context, and urgency.

With SOS Gaza Talks, SOS Gaza brought together five voices, each looking at Gaza from the perspective of their own expertise, Belgian policy, international responsibility, and ongoing public pressure.

Brigitte Herremans, Reginald Moreels, Catherine De Bock, Haifa Saleh, and Benoit Dhondt engaged in a dialogue about what is still at stake.

Approach

From conversation to online distribution

We translated the conversations into a video podcast format that combined substantive depth with a polished audiovisual presentation. Each interview was recorded using three cameras, bright lighting, and excellent sound, ensuring the conversations functioned as full-fledged video episodes rather than simple recordings.

During editing, we kept the content front and center: calm, clear, and without unnecessary design elements. The voices, arguments, and urgency of the conversation needed room to breathe.

Following recording and editing, we also took charge of the complete digital finishing and publication workflow. We created thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and captions, published the episodes on YouTube, and extracted short clips from the conversations for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Additionally, we set up new podcast channels, linked the various platforms together, and prepared the handoff to SOS Gaza. We also provided YouTube links, snippets, and transcripts to partner organizations like DeWereldMorgen, allowing them to help distribute the series through their own channels.

In this way, SOS Gaza was not only supported in production, but completely unburdened in the transition from finished recording to effective publication and distribution.

"Alongside the incredibly strong content, massive kudos for the filming as well.
The lighting is particularly beautiful, as is all your editing work. Really impressive!”

Result

A series of lasting value

SOS Gaza Talks was delivered as a complete video series on YouTube, an audio podcast, and a series of short social media videos. As a result, SOS Gaza received a single, cohesive content package that could be deployed across multiple channels.

The added value also lay in what remained after publication. By setting up new podcast channels, linking platforms, and ensuring a transferable publication workflow, SOS Gaza received not only five finished episodes but also a digital infrastructure that the organization could continue to build upon.

Thus, a series of in-depth interviews was translated into a professionally finished and sustainably usable content package.
