THE STORY

Letters from the Future

Welcome to 2068. The climate has been saved, our cities cured of concrete scab, our air cleansed of cynicism, people work to live and don't live to work, and the 1% richest have left for Mars.

Forget Mad Max, The Hunger Games, The Handmaid's Tale, science fiction doesn't have to be apocalyptic.

For EPO Publishing, we devised and realised this digital literary event, in which a whole parade of EPO authors look back from the future in short essays.

Approach

Multimedia sequel

This literary evening could be experienced as a YouTube broadcast, as a podcast and as social media content.

But also as a book, still available to order from the EPO Publishing House website.

With contributions by Hind Eljadid, Tine Hens, Peter Mertens, Sarah Wagemans, Christophe Callewaert, Naima Charkaoui, Paul Goossens, Thomas Decreus, Amina Belôrf, Dirk Holemans, Kim De Witte, Line De Witte, Lieven Miguel Kandolo, Ludo De Brabander, Leen Vermeulen, Jurn Verschraegen, Robrecht Vanderbeeken and Dominique Willaert, and a foreword by Thomas Blommaert.
