Building a new movement in South-Africa

ILRIG  is a South-African NGO providing education, publications and research for the labour and social movements in South- and Southern Africa. Since 2002 ILRIG has convened an annual Globalisation School – a week-long event which draws activists from all over South-Africa and elsewhere to an occasion combining debate and learning.

This year’s school was about building a new movement. How can activists bring together their different struggles so they can challenge the concequences of neoliberal policies in South-Africa?
